Huddersfield, UK – [June 10, 2019] – Together with clients Johnson & Johnson and Merck/MSD, eDrivingSM will host a panel discussion at Safety & Health Expo, Europe’s leading event for the health and safety sector.

The session, entitled “Using a Closed-Loop Approach to Measure, Manage & Reduce Driver Risk” will be facilitated by Nick List, eDriving’s Customer Success Director, Europe. The panel will comprise Andy Cuerden, eDriving’s Managing Director, Europe; Robin Cohen, New Business Development Lead at the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson; and Philip Sparrow, Director, Corporate Global Safety and Environment, Merck/MSD.

Discussion topics will include the benefits of a closed-loop risk management solution and the critical importance of a company-wide safety culture. Methods of identifying driver risk, techniques for changing at-risk habits and the benefits of integrating multiple data sources to obtain a complete picture of driver risk will also be addressed.

“We’re delighted to have been selected to speak at such a prominent event in the health and safety calendar,” said Nick. “It will be an honour to welcome two of our valued clients to the stage with us to hear how Johnson & Johnson and Merck/MSD manage driver risk.”

Safety & Health Expo will bring together more than 13,000 global professionals and hundreds of exhibitors at ExCeL London from 18-20 June 2019.

eDriving’s session will take place in the Operational Excellence Theatre from 2:00-2:30pm on Wednesday 19 June. eDriving will be exhibiting its behaviour-based driver safety programme, Mentor by eDrivingSM, throughout the exhibition on Stand SH3250.

Mentor by eDriving is a comprehensive behavioural change programme that helps organisations build a total view of driver risk within a company-wide crash-free culture® to ensure that all drivers return home safely to their loved ones at the end of each day.

Incorporating a smartphone app, Mentor collects performance data on driving behaviours most predictive of crash risk, including speeding, cornering, hard braking, rapid acceleration, and phone distraction. Mentor not only identifies risky behaviour, but also helps remediate it by providing engaging, interactive micro training modules delivered directly to the driver in the smartphone app.
