What information do I need handy for registering?

  • Driver license number
  • Credit card information

Is it secure to send my credit card information over the Internet?

Yes, due to the sensitive nature of credit card transactions eDriving Traffic School uses the latest encryption technology to ensure maximum security.

Protecting your order information is a priority for us. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your online order information. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower right-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the Site address will change from "http" to "https." Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you won't be able to connect to the server and therefore won't be able to place an order through a secure connection. If you cannot access the secure server for any reason, please register for the course by phone at 800-505-5095.

What happens if I get disconnected?

Navigating the course player

The course player screens move at a pre-determined speed to allow students to review carefully all the information on the screen. You can move on to the next screen once the Next button appears in the lower right-hand corner of the player. Some screens are timed to move automatically without any action on the students part. If at any time you want to review a previous screen or section, you can do so by using the Rewind or Skip Back button. In order to review a previous page, you must press and hold the Rewind button << until the desired page appears. In order to review a previous "Section" or "Unit" you should use the button marked |<<. To return to where you'd left off, use the Fast Forward >> or Skip Forward button on your player. You must first complete a section or part in its entirety before the fast forward feature is enabled. Do not use the Back button on your Web browser to navigate the course.

Voiceover

The eDriving Defensive Driving Course is professionally narrated and animated with graphic illustrations of the concepts being taught, and our web-based course player tracks your progress so you can work through the course at your convenience, resuming where you left off with each login.

Will I get an auto insurance discount for completing the online course?
