More than 80 per cent of UK drivers have been a victim of road rage, according to a new survey.

The research, commissioned by online car buying site Carwow, found that almost half of these victims had been driven at aggressively while five per cent said they had been physically attacked.

One in five respondents admitted to having got out of their car to confront someone.

Carwow’s research, which involved a survey of 1,000 UK drivers, also showed that 74 per cent of respondents blamed the bad driving of others for causing road rage, while 30 per cent said they found other road users too slow.
