The Automobile Club of Romania and FIA have developed a children’s app that is designed to encourage parents to slow down.
Mr Bear Driver is a driving game for children that helps them learn traffic rules and be involved in road safety. Through GPS the app receives data about the car’s speed and sends an alert if the speed limit is exceeded, so the child can ask the driver to slow down. If the driver doesn’t adapt the speed, the player can lose points or the game can end in ‘a crash’.
Soon after release, the app reached number one in the Romanian App Store.
