Independent organization Consumer Reports has compiled a list of the Top 10 safest used cars for teens.
Consumer Reports has been testing products since 1936 to work for a fair, just and safe marketplace for consumers.
In compiling the report the organization has taken into account safety factors such as electronic stability control, side and curtain airbags, good stopping distances on factory tires as well as vehicle size and handling.
All vehicles on the list are priced under $10,000.
