The Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO), law enforcement agencies of Yavapai County, Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Cable One, and Arizona’s Hometown Radio Group have partnered in a public service campaign to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads in Yavapai County, due to distracted driving.
The public service campaign will begin with distracted driving and later in the campaign focus on impaired driving, speeding, and aggressive driving. The campaign will include media, marketing, and outreach to the public about the dangers of distracted driving.
The distracted driving campaign will be called “It Only Takes One Second.”
