Focus on Driving\u201d initiative to educate drivers on current laws, and how to avoid distracted driving.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFar too often, we see tragedies that could have been prevented if motorists had simply kept their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel while driving,\u201d said FLHSMV Executive Director Terry L. Rhodes.<\/p>\n<p>Preliminary figures reveal that, in 2020, there were more than 48,000 distracted driving crashes in Florida.
