State trucking associations, industry suppliers, law enforcement, and motor carriers across the nation are set to host appreciation events for the men and women who safely deliver 72.5 percent of the country&#8217;s total freight tonnage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThis week is a time to remind the public of the debt of gratitude owed to these unsung heroes,\u201d said\u00a0ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. \u201cAt a time when confidence in our national institutions sits at a low, and crises of leadership have seemingly become the norm, I\u2019m pressed to find a group of Americans more deserving of our appreciation and respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ATA official\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ata.msgfocus.com\/c\/12LTA6Hbja2AVzYIs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NTDAW site<\/a>\u00a0offers a collection of resources to enhance driver appreciation events.
