{"id":13625,"date":"2022-02-02T04:00:33","date_gmt":"2022-02-02T04:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=13625"},"modified":"2022-02-01T20:26:01","modified_gmt":"2022-02-01T20:26:01","slug":"new-eu-driver-posting-declaration-rules-come-into-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/new-eu-driver-posting-declaration-rules-come-into-force\/","title":{"rendered":"New EU driver posting declaration rules come into force"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 2 February 2022, if you operate loaded goods journeys in and between European Member States (cabotage or cross-trade), you may need to register information digitally about your journeys on a new EU web-based portal.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the operator, driver, driver employment details, dates of travel, and the vehicle used need to be posted before the journey commences.<\/p>\n<p>The new rules apply if you use:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vans of any size or other light goods vehicles (sometimes called \u2018light commercial vehicles\u2019)<\/li>\n<li>vans towing trailers<\/li>\n<li>cars towing trailers<\/li>\n<li>HGVs<\/li>\n<li>HGVs towing trailers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rules also apply if you transport goods between two points in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway for commercial purposes.
