Some easy. Some more difficult\u201d &#8211; that\u2019s the tagline used in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ancap.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANCAP SAFETY\u2019<\/a>s new advertising campaign calling on all Australians to choose safety when it comes to their vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Launching nationally this month, the campaign reminds Australian mums, dads, boyfriends, girlfriends, grandparents and neighbours to stop, think about, and check the ANCAP safety rating of their car or that of a family member, loved one, or friend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are many in the community that are aware of ANCAP safety ratings \u2013 what they are, and where to look for them,\u201d said ANCAP Chief Executive Officer, Carla Hoorweg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are however those that aren\u2019t as familiar, nor have vehicle purchasing decisions front-of-mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know from our research that in some households the decision-making around which car they should buy is based on brand familiarity, or in many cases left to the \u2018other half\u2019 in the relationship that \u2018knows more about cars\u2019. For some, the only decision they need to make when looking to buy a new car is the colour it should be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this new campaign we want to reach people at important life stages. Having their first baby; caring for their first grandchild; buying their first EV; or heading out on a first date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese stages in peoples\u2019 lives are important milestones, and ones where safety really should be front-of-mind. The trigger for change during these periods is heightened, and present the perfect opportunity for safety to be injected into the conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cLife is full of choices.
