{"id":15033,"date":"2025-04-03T15:00:50","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T15:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=15033"},"modified":"2025-03-31T20:43:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T20:43:39","slug":"vietnam-visit-helps-to-enhance-knowledge-on-safe-school-zones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/vietnam-visit-helps-to-enhance-knowledge-on-safe-school-zones\/","title":{"rendered":"Vietnam visit helps to enhance knowledge on safe school zones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A delegation from Cambodia\u2019s government institutions has visited Vietnam to study road safety measures.<\/p>\n<p>Eight delegates were part of the visit to Ho Chi Minh City, Pleiku City and Dong Nai Province, coordinated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aip-foundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AIP Foundation<\/a> with support from FIA Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The visit aimed to show Vietnam\u2019s experience in improving road safety efforts with a particular focus on children\u2019s safety through safe school zones interventions, including the education and law enforcement related to 30km\/h speed limit.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation also visited a factory in Dong Nai to learn more about the importance of safe commuting for factory workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether with the Senior Leadership Team at AIP Foundation, I commend the Government of Cambodia for their strong commitment, as demonstrated at the recent 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety in Marrakech, to creating safe school zones across the country,\u201d said Mirjam Sidik, Chief Executive Officer at AIP Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis initiative is a crucial step toward safeguarding children\u2019s futures and ensuring they have a safe journey to school.
