It is on display alongside its un-crashed equivalent. <br> \u00a0<br>\u201cImprovements have been made to reduce the number of lives lost on South Australia\u2019s roads, but there is still a lot more to be done as any death on our roads is one too many,\u201d said Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Corey Wingard MP. \u201cSafety should be the priority whenever we take to the streets, and displays such as this help prioritise what\u2019s important.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Australasia\u2019s independent vehicle safety authority, ANCAP, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/car-showrooms-in-australia-display-crash-tested-vehicle-wrecks\/\">announced<\/a> last year it was stepping up its engagement with car dealerships and consumers by displaying crash-tested vehicle wrecks in new car showrooms. The national initiative is supported by the Department of Planning, Transport &amp; Infrastructure and the RAA. <br> <br>\u201cNone of us want to have a crash, but being in the newest, safest car you can afford can help reduce the risk and improve the outcome,\u201d ANCAP Chief Executive, James Goodwin said. \u201cGiving consumers the opportunity to see and sit in a car which has purposely been designed to protect makes the safety consideration real.\u201d<br> <br> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new car dealership in South Australia has put a crashed car on display to customers as part of a national initiative to build consumer awareness and understanding of vehicle safety.
