{"id":8949,"date":"2019-08-27T23:28:29","date_gmt":"2019-08-27T23:28:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=8949"},"modified":"2019-08-27T23:28:29","modified_gmt":"2019-08-27T23:28:29","slug":"new-report-reveals-us-state-with-safest-drivers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/new-report-reveals-us-state-with-safest-drivers\/","title":{"rendered":"New report reveals US state with safest drivers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Drivers in Boise, Idaho, are the safest in the United States when taking into account population density, according to the newly released 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allstate.com\/tr\/americas-best-drivers.aspx?cid=OTC-PR-AmericasBestDrivers-190625\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Allstate America\u2019s Best Drivers Report\u00ae<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Allstate standardizes the rankings between states so that drivers in densely populated areas and their counterparts in smaller cities can be compared fairly.<\/p>\n<p>To help encourage positive change in communities, Allstate is offering $150,000 in grants that can be used for safety improvement projects on the 15 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allstate.com\/americas-best-drivers\/index.htm#riskyRoads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cRisky Roads\u201d<\/a> identified in June in recognition of the 15th anniversary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allstatenewsroom.com\/news\/15th-annual-allstate-americas-best-drivers-report-ranks-u-s-cities-with-the-safest-drivers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">America\u2019s Best Drivers Report<\/a>. Local safety experts are working with Allstate to determine which projects will make a positive impact for motorists driving on these crash-prone streets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you consider the impact a daily commute has on a person, it\u2019s not hard to imagine how one small traffic improvement can be a positive change for many,\u201d said Saat Alety, Allstate\u2019s Director of Federal Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. \u201cOur grants signal Allstate\u2019s commitment to reduce risky conditions on America\u2019s roads in communities across the country, but it\u2019s just one piece of the puzzle.
