There were 68 incidents reported from April to June this year, compared to 97 incidents during the same three months in 2015 \u2013 that\u2019s an average of 10 fewer incidents every month. Peak-time drivers are also travelling up to 15 miles per hour faster than before work started.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe upgrade of the M6 has made a significant improvement to journey times for our fleet at Arclid Transport,\u201d said Andy Brookes, Managing Director of the haulage firm based close to junction 17 of the M6.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most noticeable factor is the reliability of the flow of traffic, meaning we are now more certain of estimated arrival times for our customers because there are far fewer delays.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A major upgrade to one of England\u2019s busiest stretches of motorway has improved traffic flow and reduced the number of collisions, according to Highways England.
