{"id":8981,"date":"2019-09-09T21:10:54","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T21:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=8981"},"modified":"2019-09-09T21:10:54","modified_gmt":"2019-09-09T21:10:54","slug":"drivers-urged-to-make-the-pledge-for-safer-driving-for-project-edward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/drivers-urged-to-make-the-pledge-for-safer-driving-for-project-edward\/","title":{"rendered":"Drivers urged to make the pledge for safer driving for project EDWARD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The countdown is on for European Day Without A Road Death \u2013 Project EDWARD \u2013 which this year takes place on Thursday 26 September.<\/p>\n<p>The annual campaign is led by the European Traffic Police Network, TISPOL, and aims to achieve no deaths on the roads of Europe on this day.<\/p>\n<p>Project EDWARD, which launched in 2016, is supported by all 30 TISPOL member countries and a growing number of companies and safety organizations, all of which will help to encourage drivers to think about their behaviour and attitude on the roads.<\/p>\n<p>Project EDWARD aims to spearhead significant and sustained reduction in death and serious injury on roads across the world.<\/p>\n<p>National governments, private organisations, public agencies, charities, schools, colleges and universities, as well as individuals, are encouraged to make the road safety pledge to support Project EDWARD.<\/p>\n<p>To make the pledge click <a href=\"https:\/\/projectedward.eu\/pledge-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The countdown is on for European Day Without A Road Death \u2013 Project EDWARD \u2013 which this year takes place on Thursday 26 September.
