Ten tracks were chosen, with tempo for the selected rock songs all above 120 beats per minute (BPM) while the light music songs were all below 80 BPM.<\/p>\n<p>Topping the list of \u201cmost dangerous\u201d songs was Green Day\u2019s <em>American Idiot<\/em>, with 189 BPM. Led Zeppelin\u2019s <em>Stairway to Heaven<\/em> was named the least dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>According to researchers: \u201cThis paper presents the study on the association between in-vehicle music listening, physiological and psychological response, and driving performance, using the driving simulator approach, with which personality (temperament) was considered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResults of mixed analysis of variance indicated that the effects of music genre and driver character on driving performance were significant.
