That\u2019s why, as part of CleanBC, we introduced Move.Commute.Connect., B.C.\u2019s first active transportation strategy. Our strategy will help communities build more bike lanes and trails, giving more people the opportunity to choose an active mode of travel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, with the days getting shorter and the weather becoming more variable, cyclists are urged to put safety first.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s more important than ever for cyclists to be seen and to ensure their bikes have working lights,\u201d said Trevena. \u201cWhether you cycle to work, ride on a trail to school or bike to get around town, always ensure that you are cycling safely and aware of your surroundings.
