{"id":9337,"date":"2019-12-11T18:18:52","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T18:18:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=9337"},"modified":"2019-12-12T17:51:49","modified_gmt":"2019-12-12T17:51:49","slug":"australias-motorcycle-clothing-rating-system-wins-international-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/australias-motorcycle-clothing-rating-system-wins-international-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Australia\u2019s motorcycle clothing rating system wins international award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.motocap.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MotoCAP<\/a> \u2013 the Australian rating system for motorcycle clothing \u2013 has been awarded the Road Safety Award at the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) awards.<\/p>\n<p>Bernard Carlon, Executive Director of Transport for New South Wales\u2019 Centre for Road Safety, said the award was well deserved and shows Australia is leading the way in road safety both here and overseas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NSW Government is committed to lowering the road toll in innovative ways and the development of pioneering programs such as MotoCAP shows Australia really is looking to the future of road safety,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>MotoCAP gives clothing two separate star ratings \u2013 one for protection and one for thermal comfort.
