Indicators, and a hazard symbol can also be displayed to make other road users aware of the cyclist\u2019s movements and possible dangers ahead.<\/p>\n<p>The functions can all be controlled without the cyclist removing their hands from the handlebars, using a wireless remote, featuring independent buttons which can be mounted and removed from the bike.<\/p>\n<p>The design has been created by Ford, in partnership with industrial design specialists Designworks, and is part of the manufacturer\u2019s ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ford.co.uk\/experience-ford\/about-ford\/share-the-road\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018Share the Road\u2019 campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Emoji expert Dr Neil Cohn PhD says the jacket creates \u201can important emotional link\u201d between cyclists and other road users.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A car manufacturer has created a prototype jacket which lets cyclists communicate their emotions to other road users using emojis.
