{"id":9556,"date":"2020-02-28T16:49:59","date_gmt":"2020-02-28T16:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=9556"},"modified":"2020-02-28T16:49:59","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T16:49:59","slug":"road-safety-school-resource-for-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/road-safety-school-resource-for-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"Road safety school resource for teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new learning resource has been developed to help teachers in British Colombia educate children on road safety skills and awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for students from preschool to grade ten, the resource has been created by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icbc.com\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Insurance Corporation of BC<\/a> (ICBC).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether it&#8217;s learning how to safely cross the road or understanding the rules of a four-way stop, road safety is important for all British Columbians,\u201d said Lindsay Matthews, ICBC&#8217;s Vice President of Public Affairs and Driver Licensing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs part of our commitment to promoting a safe driving culture in BC, we\u2019ve developed these road safety resources to help give children and young adults the tools they need to stay safe, now and in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Teachers can download resources for free at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icbc.com\/road-safety\/teaching\/Pages\/For-educators.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">icbc.com<\/a>.
