{"id":9937,"date":"2020-08-03T17:57:30","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T17:57:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/?p=9937"},"modified":"2020-08-03T17:57:30","modified_gmt":"2020-08-03T17:57:30","slug":"national-stop-on-red-week-campaign-launches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edriving.com\/three60\/national-stop-on-red-week-campaign-launches\/","title":{"rendered":"National Stop on Red Week campaign launches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A national campaign to help raise awareness of the dangers of red-light running is taking place this week across the United States.<\/p>\n<p>National Stop on Red Week 2020 runs August 2-8 to educate drivers about the dangers of red-light running and to reduce the number and severity of crashes.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, motorists in urban areas are more likely to be injured in crashes involving red-light running than in any other type of crash. In 2018, 846 people were killed, and an estimated 139,000 were injured in crashes that involved red-light running.
