Cuomo has announced the tests can be taken remotely using video conferencing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we continue establishing a new normal it&#8217;s important to be flexible in how we administer certain services including the process for getting a driver&#8217;s license,\u201d said Governor Cuomo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe pre-licensing course is critical for New Yorkers to learn how to drive safely, and allowing driving schools to teach this course remotely will allow courses to resume without risking the health and safety of those participating.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The courses are delivered live, in real-time, by pre-licensing qualified instructors through video sessions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DMV licensed driving schools can once again conduct distance learning Pre-Licensing Courses.
