Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Uber teamed up in April for a new campaign to prevent impaired driving and save lives during Alcohol Awareness Month.
This first-of-its-kind partnership united MADD’s mission-driven advocacy with Uber’s innovative technology to deliver the message: Don’t drive impaired—plan a ride home in advance.
“Alcohol Awareness Month is a timely opportunity to spark change – and this partnership between MADD and Uber is doing exactly that,” said Stacey D Stewart, CEO of MADD.
“By combining Uber’s innovative platform with MADD’s decades of advocacy, we’re empowering people to make safer choices. Together, we’re not just raising awareness – we’re creating real, lifesaving impact.”
