A tow-truck piled with smashed cars will be driving around the Perth, Australia for one week to show drivers the dangers of speeding.
The eye-catching display, which aims to show the consequences of speeding, will make its way around Perth streets in August. The tow-truck piled with wrecked cars is part of the Road Safety Commission’s successful ‘Speeding Shatters Your Excuses’ campaign.
Speeding is the number one factor in the State’s road fatalities, according to the Western Australia government.
First launched in September last year, ‘Speeding Shatters Your Excuses’ aims to challenge the common excuses people use to justify speeding.
The tow-truck is a new and addition designed to confront road users with real life examples of the consequences of speeding.
