Cyclists in Scotland can get up to £50 worth of free bike repair and maintenance work under a new scheme.

Funded by the Scottish Government, as part of its response to the COVID-19 crisis, the £1.5m initiative is being delivered through Cycling UK and participating retailers and aims to encourage more people to ride a bike, helping to manage demand on public transport.

All cycles are included from adult and child bikes, to tandems, trikes, handcycles, non-standard and adapted bikes.

The scheme has already seen almost 100 bikes shops across the country sign up with repairs available on a first come basis until the £1.5 million fund has been exhausted.
