April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month in the United States.

The National Safety Council’s awareness campaign aims to draw attention to the impact distractions have on road safety.

More than 40,000 people were killed in motor vehicle fatalities in 2018. And, from cell phones to dashboard infotainment systems, all kinds of distractions can contribute to crash risk.

Free Distracted Driving Awareness Month materials are available on the National Safety Council’s website, including posters, fact sheets, infographics and social media posts.
