Funding worth $160,000 has been made available in Western Australia to deliver road safety messages to young people.
The Road Safety Commission’s Community Initiative Grants aim to promote positive driver behaviour among young people and are available for community-based events or projects.
“I look forward to new ideas about ways we can better support the community in delivering important road safety messages to this vulnerable cohort who are overrepresented in our road trauma statistics,” said Road Safety Commissioner Adrian Warner.
“We know that local ideas, insights, connections and passion can have the power to change attitudes and save lives.”
