Uber has published a new report outlining how it plans to achieve zero emissions.

The company announced in 2020 it aims to be a zero-emission mobility platform by 2040.

Initiatives taken by Uber to achieve its target include expanding support for drivers to transition to zero-emissions vehicles through various initiatives such as education, savings, incentives, and advocacy.

Programs available for drivers include webinars and events, public awareness campaigns, and personalized support including a new EV cost calculator.

Uber also offers incentives to drivers like extra earning opportunities for those who make the switch to electric and the chance to save on EVs and EV charging solutions.

The company is working with partners to advocate for policies that support transportation decarbonization in cities.
