Parents in the United States are being warned by the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) not to purchase or use the “Little Passenger Seat.”
NHTSA says the bench seats – frequently used by children – are not certified as meeting Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, which specify minimum safety performance requirements for motor vehicles and motor vehicle equipment.
