Commercial drivers in California can now renew their driver’s license online.
The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has been offering online renewals for eligible non-commercial driver’s licenses on its website for many years and has now expanded the service.
“This new online service is one more way we are making it easier on the commercial drivers who move essential goods throughout the state,” said DMV Director Steve Gordon.
The service is open to most drivers, however those who are required to take a test or who do not have a clean driver record will still have to visit a field office to renew.
