eDriving and partner FICO to present at Fleet Safety Conference in Las Vegas

Cape May, New Jersey, USA – [October 24, 2019] – Jim Noble, eDriving’s Vice President of Risk Engineering, will join Rachel Bell, FICO’s Vice President, Scores and Analytics, FICO® Decisions to present a light-duty session at the upcoming Fleet Safety Conference.

The eDriving and FICO® session, titled Predictive Analytics: How To Effectively Measure And Improve Fleet Driving Risk, will take place Wednesday October 30 from 11:15 AM – 12.15 PM. Attendees will learn 1) how to create a company-wide, crash-free culture® and focus, 2) how telematics data is being effectively leveraged to predict and, when appropriate, amend driving behaviors, 3) how telematics data should be incorporated into a 360-degree view of driver and organizational risk, and 4) the key advantages of closed-loop training in mitigating risk.

“Through our discussion of specific tools and techniques, attendees will gain an understanding of how telematics and driving behavior data can help fleet safety managers better understand and mitigate driver risk,” said Noble.

Organized by the publishers of Automotive Fleet, Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT), and Work Truck magazines, Fleet Safety Conference is the only conference of its kind designed specifically for fleet, risk, safety, sales, human resources and EHS professionals that offers current and expert insights and practical education on improving fleet safety. It takes place October 28-30 at M Resort Spa Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Throughout the event, members of eDriving’s Business Development Team, Chad Lindholm, Rob Reynolds and Eric Ramirez, will be exhibiting the company’s smartphone driver safety program, MentorSM by eDriving. Mentor combines eDriving’s patented, proven, continuous improvement methodology for driver risk reduction with a unique smartphone app that not only identifies risky driving behavior, but also remediates it with in-app micro-training.

Through eDriving’s partnership with industry analytics leader FICO®, drivers using Mentor receive an individual FICO® Safe Driving Score validated to predict the likelihood of a driver being involved in a crash or incident.
