Former Dow Jones Technology Leader, Chris Boyd, appointed eDriving’s Senior Vice President, Product & Engineering

Cape May, New Jersey – [December 3, 2019] – eDrivingSM, a global provider of driver risk management solutions, has appointed Chris Boyd as Senior Vice President of Product & Engineering.

With over 20 years of experience as a technology leader, Chris brings his engineering and product management experience to eDriving. During the last 10 years, Chris was working at Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, as Vice President of Product and Engineering. He led global cross-functional teams of product managers, designers and engineers through a digital transformation of the media industry that accelerated with the birth of smartphones, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence.

Chris’ customer-focused product management approach drove The Wall Street Journal to the highest levels of membership ever for the company. He introduced machine learning and predictive analytics to create the dynamic paywall powering membership marketing. He designed and delivered the personalization technology platform used across all the consumer digital products at Dow Jones to increase customer engagement across channels including websites, native mobile applications, email and social channels.
