CIO Bulletin Names eDriving as One of 30 Fastest Growing Companies to Watch

Cape May, New Jersey – [December 5, 2019] – eDriving, a global provider of driver risk management programs, has been included in CIO Bulletin’s 2019 list of “30 Fastest Growing Companies to Watch”.

The annual listing is comprised of innovative companies that are making a significant difference within their industries. eDriving was selected based on the extensive development of its patented closed-loop driver behavior change program, MentorSM, that now engages approximately 1.2 million drivers across 100 countries.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by CIO Bulletin in its list of companies to watch,” said Ed Dubens, CEO/ Founder of eDriving. “Over the past 23 years we’ve grown from a start-up in Huddersfield, UK to a global company with both a UK and US headquarters, helping some of the world’s largest organizations manage driver risk. Receiving this recognition of our growth reflects the hard work and dedication of our employees in all corners of the world, and highlights our commitment to continually innovate and advance our solutions to serve the needs of our fleet clients globally.”

Mentor by eDrivingSM combines the company’s patented, proven, continuous improvement methodology for driver risk reduction with a unique smartphone app that not only identifies risky driving behavior, but also remediates it with in-app micro-training. As well as its core features including the validated, predictive, FICO® Safe Driving Score and “Circles” that engages employees through gamification, an optional First Notice of Loss (FNOL) feature was added to Mentor during 2019. FNOL allows drivers to complete and submit to all key parties the information and photographic support required to report an “event” (Collision, Incident, Near Miss or License Violation) directly from within the Mentor app with the fleet owner’s permission. This assists both the repair process and claims management process, and also enables prompt manager intervention with drivers following an “event”.

eDriving’s expansion plans for Mentor during 2020 include the launch of Mentor TSP (Telematics Service Partner) that helps organizations with an existing telematics solution take advantage of Mentor’s award-winning driver improvement program. It combines the existing TSP’s acceleration, braking, cornering and speeding signal capture with Mentor’s smooth maneuvers and distraction to create the Mentor FICO® Safe Driving Score.

Mentor VISION will add an inward and outward-facing camera option to further enhance the risk and claims management functionality of the Mentor eco-system that reacts to the FICO® Safe Driving Score behaviors triggered by the driver.

During the last 12 months, eDriving’s growth has been supported by multiple additions to its leadership team. Its success at helping fleet drivers get home safely to their loved ones every day has been rewarded by several awards, including three Stevie® Awards and Brake’s Fleet Safety Product Award during 2019.
