eDriving’s patented closed-loop continuous improvement program, Mentor, provides everything fleets need to achieve and sustain a crash-free culture® in a smartphone-based micro learning and behavioral change management system. Mentor guides driver performance and provides feedback on risky behaviors such as speeding, harsh maneuvers and phone distraction. Most importantly, it follows up with weekly 3-5 minute engaging, interactive coaching modules to address risky driving behaviors immediately and influence attitudes and behaviors, one trip at a time.
Powered by the FICO® Safe Driving Score, Mentor empowers “good” drivers to prove their low-risk profile, and “high-risk” drivers to understand their risk exposures, how those factors affect their safety and what they can do to manage, control and mitigate their risk of crashes, thereby improving their driving and ultimately ensuring their safe return to their loved ones at the end of each day. Mentor incorporates many successful elements of gamification, including its “Circles” feature that encourages friendly competition between co-workers and provides opportunities for managers and drivers to remain engaged informally as they work together to remain collision-, license violation- and injury-free.
“What an incredible achievement to win not only an American Business Award, but also a People’s Choice Award,” said Ed Dubens, CEO/ Founder of eDriving. “This public recognition for Mentor demonstrates what an opportunity there is for the eDriving/ FICO® partnership to empower drivers to identify and change their high risk behaviors behind the wheel that could get them into trouble.”
