Cape May, New Jersey – [May 2, 2019] – eDrivingSM has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Governance, Risk & Compliance Solution category in the 17th Annual American Business Awards®.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Tickets are now on sale.
More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
Mentor by eDrivingSM was nominated and recognized in the Governance, Risk & Compliance Solution category.
eDriving’s patented closed-loop continuous improvement program, Mentor, provides everything fleets need to achieve and sustain a crash-free culture® in a smartphone-based micro learning and behavioral change management system. Mentor guides driver performance and provides feedback on risky behaviors such as speeding, harsh maneuvers and phone distraction. Most importantly, it follows up with weekly 3-5 minute engaging, interactive coaching modules to address risky driving behaviors immediately and influence attitudes and behaviors, one trip at a time.
Powered by the FICO® Safe Driving Score, Mentor empowers “good” drivers to prove their low-risk profile, and “high-risk” drivers to understand their risk exposures, how those factors affect their safety and what they can do to manage, control and mitigate their risk of crashes, thereby improving their driving and ultimately ensuring their safe return to their loved ones at the end of each day.
Mentor incorporates many successful elements of gamification, including its “Circles” feature that encourages friendly competition between co-workers and provides opportunities for managers and drivers to remain engaged informally as they work together to remain collision-, license violation- and injury-free.
Mentor is available globally in 14 languages to date.
More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. Judges’ comments about Mentor by eDriving included:
- eDriving in itself is an innovative and well thought out business model. The Mentor by eDriving is an innovative and successful program that seems to pay dividends through their mobile phone app. Their program to try to change the behavior and habits of a driver is a difficult task, but judging by their supporting documents, it seems to work!! They took a nearly impossible task of changing habits, handmade it interesting, allowed for coaching and most of all they were able to score the users on their improvement. Ask anyone who has tried to lose weight or stop smoking how difficult a job they have. Mentor by eDriving has found a solution to process change and monitor it success. Bravo!
- Mentor by eDriving increases reality in drivers coaching and compliance.
- An app that can encourage good driving practices. Fantastic and much needed.
- Excellent smartphone app program which has proved to be very effective by users. Has a very good future.
